Paper Plus Rewrite?

I’ve been thinking recently of rewriting Paper Plus from scratch. There are a number of things I’d like to change about the application, including:

  • Support additional file formats (PNG, for example)
  • Support a ‘Fit’ display type, fitting the image to the screen in its largest dimension
  • Improve user customization of the app (selectable toolbar buttons and list control columns)
  • Fix some outstanding annoyances and bugs

If you use Paper Plus, what do you want to see in a new version? Even if you don’t use it, what would you want out of a wallpaper utility?

    I’d use it. I think the improvements and enhancements you have suggested make a lot of sense. I wonder if you could also include the ability to convert the wall paper between formats to simplify the desktop customization process. Thank you for all your work.
