CoLT 2.4.3

Jan 11, 2009

In what must be a record release window, a new build of CoLT is (yet again) available. This time, I've squashed a few bugs that I should have caught the first time around. It pays to test.

The addition of "Copy Page Title and Location As" has made my day! I've been using a very old version of CopyURL+ for that functionality for ages. Thanks a bunch for adding this to CoLT.

CoLT currently has no means of doing this kind of thing. You would need to use a regular expression to transform the link. Adding support for that is an interesting idea, and one I'll consider for a future release.

Do you have anything for FF3.1B3 yet?

Not yet. I'm planning on waiting until FF 3.5 reaches "release candidate" level before I make updates to CoLT and Googlebar Lite. In the mean time, here's a way you can work around the compatibility issue.

Thanks for the very handy ext. Is it possible to have the option "Copy Link and Location (HTML link)" as a separate menu item? So if somebody right clicks on a link, he could immediately copy the link's html location, without having to go in a submenu. Thanks again :-)

CoLT already has an option similar to this, though it's not very apparent at first. If you remove all of the custom format options except the HTML one, it will appear as a top-level menu item. In other words, if your list of custom formats has only one thing in it, I don't bother showing the sub-menu. I know this might not be exactly what you're looking for, but it's a workaround of sorts.
