I've just pushed out version 5.0.2 of Googlebar Lite, which fixes the search suggestion bug that cropped up in Firefox 31. A huge thanks to Nils Maier for opening issue #18 and providing the requisite fix over at GitHub. This is what makes open source so great! :D

Any other reports of googlebar lite disappearing on FF 31? Mine's gone though the bar's space is there but is just 'empty'. I've removed and reinstalled and it's a no go.

I haven't seen any reports of that behavior. If you right click the empty toolbar, and select the "Customize" option, you should see the Googlebar Lite toolbar item in the customize window that pops up. Simply drag it over to the toolbar, and you should be set.
