Googlebar Lite 4.6.3
Yet another new release of Googlebar Lite is available. Two regressions surfaced from changes that were made in 4.6.2. Here’s the change log:
- Bug Fix: An uncaught exception in the new URL parsing logic (added in 4.6.2) was causing the URL bar in Firefox to act incorrectly when a new tab was opened.
- Bug Fix: The new URL parsing was too strict. Because of this, search terms were not being updated appropriately on non-web searches (image searches, group searches, etc.).

July 8, 2007 at 7:11 pmLots of people have suggested this feature, and I would like to include it in a future release. The current text control that I am using is limited to sorting alphabetically, so I would essentially have to create my own control to allow for both possibilities.

July 22, 2007 at 10:32 amHi,
thank you for this great extension !
Are you going to port this to recent seamonkey releases (2.0 pre alpha)? Would be great, seamonkey is lacking a decent search tool.
Greetings

October 18, 2007 at 11:51 amGreat software! Though it would be even greater if we could increase the maximum amount of words to highlight (128 chars max. at the moment just as the original GoogleBar) and to increase the total different colors. Here at work we use it each day. Great software again! Keep up the good work! Regards from France.
